Space Cowboy / Cowgirl

A mashup title like Space Cowboy offers the logo designer and motion design artist with a lot to work with. These mashups consist of two words, each of which comes bundled with a number of graphic motifs associated with them. Space conjures up images of rockets, UFOs, planets, and stars, while Cowboy is imbued with the American Western's history of deserts, hats, boots, and riders on horseback. Mash them up and you have fertile grounds for compelling imagery and surprising juxposition.

The design should start as a blank slate - the white of a page or the color of the background - and then draw or otherwise assemble itself over time. The design should be of a limited palette: B&W plus up to 3 colors. Use color sparingly to make a point or draw attention etc. Techniques to showcase could include Trim Paths, Trace Paths, Track Mattes, and/or Trapcode Particle system(s) - all employed to assemble the logo and animate it's elements. See if the new 3D capabilities will serve this project well. The 10 Principles of Animation should be dialed in and dialed up as needed. The Comp should be 1080p and the whole logo reveal should take between 4 and 8 seconds.
